Code of Ethics

Rare-disease organizations, filmmakers, and other creators entrust ROC with films, videos, and other content about all aspects of rare diseases and other types of disabilities.

ROC owes a duty of respect to all people who create or are depicted in the content. It will never intentionally participate in any activity that compromises their dignity, infringes on their rights or discriminates against them, or otherwise denigrates them in any way.

ROC owes a duty of integrity with respect to all content that it accepts and disseminates. It will never intentionally participate in any event or other use that compromises the integrity of the content or its subjects in order to promote the interests of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other rare-disease industry entities.

ROC recognizes its commitment to provide full credit to all creators of content. It respects all copyrights and other interests associated with the content. ROC will never intentionally engage in any activities that violate those rights.
