Supplier / Contractor Code of Conduct

It is crucial for Rare Outreach Coalition (ROC) to conduct its business ethically and responsibly. For this reason, we ask our suppliers, contractors, and other partners to review and agree to the below code of conduct.

Thus, ROC asks that you review the following statements and indicate "Agree" or "Disagree" for each. Please note that all statements require a response. If the statement does not apply to you (for example, it deals with employees and you have zero employees), please mark it as “N/A”. To the extent that your answer to any of the statements is “N/A” or "Disagree", please provide a full explanation for each. Thank you.

Our organization complies with all applicable laws, codes or regulations of the countries, states and localities in which we operate. This includes but is not limited to laws and regulations relating to environmental, occupational health and safety, and labor practices.

Our organization will respect the intellectual property rights of others, including ROC, its affiliates, and its partners. We will take appropriate steps to safeguard and maintain confidential and proprietary information of ROC and shall use such information only for the purposes specified for use by ROC.

Our organization complies with all environmental laws and regulations applicable to our operations worldwide, including, where applicable, obtaining and maintaining environmental permits, properly handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and controlling all discharges from operations.

Our organization provides our employees with a safe and healthy working environment in order to prevent accidents and injury to health arising out of employment including providing occupational health and safety training, and a system for injury and illness reporting.

Our organization has adopted labor practices in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including: not using any form of forced labor or child labor; providing wages for regular and overtime work and benefits that meet or exceed legal requirements; not requiring workers to work more than the maximum hours of daily labor set by the law; not discriminating in our employment practices on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, national origin, or any other prohibited basis; and respecting the right of our workers to join or refrain from joining associations of their own choosing, and the right to collective bargaining in accordance with all labor laws.
